MILI Calls Applicants for Myanmar Peace Process and Road Map Training

Conduct Training on History and Roadmap of Myanmar Peace Process

With the support of FHI 360, MILI conducted Training on History and Roadmap of Myanmar Peace Process at Global Grace Hotel, Taungoo City, Bago Region from 14th to 18th September 2019 for five days. Training was conducted with the aim of to strengthen the capacity of persons with disabilities for participating in Myanmar peace process. In which 20 persons with disabilities from 7 MILI Branch Offices and 10 persons DPOs, total 30 participants were attended. On the first three days of training, related subject on Myanmar politic and peace process were learnt and on the fourth day of training, experience sharing section between PWDs and 4 CSOs that related to Women, Youth and Ethnicities were conducted. Then on the fifth and last day of training, role and activities of PWDs, Women, Youth and Ethnicities for participating in Myanmar peace process were explored in discussion.

Conduct Capacity Building Training on Myanmar Peace Process

With the support of FHI-360, MILI conducted capacity building training related to Myanmar Peace Process and Peace Roadmap for its staff. Training was conducted at MILI Shae Saung Hall from 15th to 17th August 2019 for three days with the aim of to enhance peace related capacity and to be supportive of developing action plan for EPPM project. Training was lectured by Sayar Marum Gorgon from NYEIN Foundation and 16 MILI staff and 4 EC Members of MILI Branch Offices from four states, total 20 participants were attended.
