MILI’s 7^th anniversary was auspiciously celebrated at Myanmar Independent Living Initiative (MILI) Yangon office on May 8^th 2018. Officials from government sectors, donor organizations, partner organizations, DPOs and business companies about 80 participants were participated. In the morning session Executive Director U Nay Lin Soe gave the welcome remarks. Following him, U Sit Myaing, Vice President of Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC) and Dr. Kay Thi Kyaw, Director of Yangon Regional Social Welfare office delivered the congratulatory remarks. Then, MILI honored her former members of board for their serving in governance body. As special activity of the celebration, special guest from SOMPO Japan Foundation was chosen as lucky draw winner and was honored an anniversary gift with his memorial words to MILI. After this, Senior Management Team members cut the anniversary cake. Then, all the participants enjoyed the MILI theme song entertained by artists with disability and watched the MILI documentary together. Finally, Deputy Executive Director, Daw Yu Ya Thu expressed the words of thanks and concluded the ceremony.  In the afternoon session, all MILI staff were happily enjoyed the game activities, entertainment programs, disability puzzle and table football match.
