MILI Calls Applicants for Myanmar Peace Process and Road Map Training

Conduct Policy Platform Training

Policy Platform Training was conducted at MILI Shae Saung Hall on 17th October 2019 as MILI has been implementing APPM Project on ASEAN Enabling Masterplan 2025: Mainstreming the Rithts of Persons with Disabilities. Training was aimed to be united the voices of DPOs on what policy areas/sectors need to be prioritized for advocacy and lectured by Inclusion Specialist Ms.Rebecca Aaberg from IFES, Inclusion Team. In which training 16 MILI staffs were attended.

Conduct Disability Awareness Training

With the coordination of Medical Action Myanmar (MAM), MILI conducted Disability Awareness Trainings at Kachin State. Trainings were conducted with the aim of to be accessible of persons with disabilities in health services in Putao and Pha Kant Township. First disability awareness training was conducted on 26th September 2019 at Hotel Putao, Putao City, Kachin State and in which MAM staff, mid wives and nurses, total 91 participants were attended. The second training was conducted on 28th September at Pha Kant General Hospital and in which including MAM staff, mid wives and nurses, total 88 participants were attended.
